pressure
Pressure
It’s building up
I’m ready to …
Ready to ASPLODE!!!
Can I take the pressure?
Utilizing drastic measures
Compressed in my mind like diamonds made of my pleasure.
Ring on my finger
The ownage of a prisoner
That weighs on my heart like the lyrics of a singer
I feel it all building
Climax reaching its peak
Feeling mighty explosive
The future keeps looking most bleak.
Feel that heat rising
Now as I climb in
Inside of this cave
to seek out your diamond.
Dreams from the ghetto
Mired in falsettos
Scenes inspired by streaming shots of amaretto.
Those that betray us
Through spectacle engagements
Yell to the sky, screaming tongues in the flagrant.
What I look like?
You’re delirious
Few things I despise more, the insidious, I’m serious
There’s no way off the plank
Feeling thirsty, take yo drank
I won’t lite I shed a little tear as you sank
So many years to let go
As I chose to keep my head low
For the sake of peace while insanity builds my headstone
Cries of mountainous violence
Shaped as rescue sirens
Which none know where to find me until I rise from the silence.
I feel it all building
Climax reaching its peak
Feeling mighty explosive
The future keeps looking most bleak.
Feel that heat rising
Now as I climb in
Inside of this cave
to seek out your diamond.
*bridge/keyboard solo*
I feel it all building
Climax reaching its peak
Feeling mighty explosive
The future keeps looking most bleak.
Feel that heat rising
Now as I climb in
Inside of this cave
to seek out your diamond.
(For my national treasure
Keep fighting for the reload
I feel friction down the barrel
Of the cannon, now watch me implode!)
(no explosion? HAHAAHHAA)
No longer will I keep it up
Grow stronger as I reap it up
Explode from the scene as I burst from the seams
(Repeat)
The pressure spilling in me
Drowning me with my stream
The tragedy is obscene
Maybe it’s time to wipe this slate clean.
BOOM
BOOM!
BOOM!!!
KUH-BLAM-OH
Goodbyeeeeee
Goodbyyyyyeeee
Goodbyeeyeeyee
Adios mothafacka
A note from the lyricist
“Pressure” explores the psychological weight of years spent suppressing anger, pain, betrayal, and emotional turmoil. Using explosive imagery of diamonds, caves, cannons, sinking ships, and pressure vessels, the song follows a narrator approaching a breaking point and ultimately choosing to release everything that has been building inside.
