The Swimmer

Take your head to the bottom of the sea

Rest your body there for the rest of eternity

But there's nothing there for me!

I'm a swimmer, swimming up to breathe

And the rest is all resting there, as it needs to be

As a swimmer I must be strong, in all conditions

I must believe, for a swimmer to be free

He must be following all rivers to the sea

Wake up from deep sleep where alternatives give you peace

How much of your precious time can you give up to your special dreams?

There's not enough love in me!

But I've got all the love that I need

I'm a swimmer, swimming in between

The spaces and the places that I see

As a swimmer, I must have stamina as big as Andromeda

And as I'm holding her, I must be seen

To follow all rivers to the sea

And inside the water, it's cold like December

And inside the river, it's cold, it makes me shiver

I must be a swimmer, if it's cold forever
